Basic Oil Analysis

This package allows you to verify that the lubricant’s viscosity, acidity (TAN) and its additives are in appropriate conditions for the speed and load of the equipment. Through analysis by ICP-OES (Inductively-Coupled Plasma – Optical Emission Spectrometry) up to 24 elemental metals are detected, it measures in concentration up to particles smaller than 10 microns in size, which may be present in the used oil either due to wear, contamination or additives; this package also provides us with a moisture detection tool. With the Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectrometr test, the presence of oxidation, nitration, Soot, glycol, presence of water and fuels can be detected by abs / 0.1mm (absorbance units per 0.1 millimeter).

TRIBO 1 package will obtain true and accurate information on the particles that have accumulated within your system and can affect the good performance of your equipment. Through ISO particle count method (ISO4406.99), it is possible to quantify the levels of particle contamination per milliliter of fluid in three sizes 4μ, 6μ and 14μ.
